Outpouring Worship Center is supported entirely by the people who gather here. There is no denominational subsidy behind us and no endowment; the weekly services, the upkeep of the building, our local outreach and the missionaries we support are all funded by ordinary people giving what they have decided to give.
Because of that, we try to be straightforward about it. Giving is never a condition of belonging, and no one is asked to give in order to attend, take part or receive prayer. If you are visiting for the first time, we would genuinely rather you did not give — come, sit, and see what you think first.
The General Fund is the largest and least glamorous of the three. It pays for the things that have to happen every week whether anyone notices or not: keeping the lights on and the building heated through a Michigan winter, the cost of running Sunday and Wednesday services, and outreach in Ravenna and the surrounding Muskegon County communities.
Missions supports missionaries and church-planting work beyond our own community. Pastor Tim and Dawn Maycroft have travelled as missionaries themselves, supporting local ministries, widows and orphans, and this fund continues that work through the people doing it on the ground.
The Building Fund covers maintaining and improving the facility — a building that has served this community for decades and needs looking after so it can keep doing so.
Outpouring Worship Center is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, EIN 38-2469106. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by United States law, and you will receive a receipt for your records. Online giving is handled by Zeffy over a secure encrypted connection; we never see or store your card details.
